HY-Bond Polycarboxylate Cement contains a one-of-a-kind tannin-fluoride additive that aids in sealing dentin tubules to minimize post-operative sensitivity. It acts as a direct luting cement for inlays, crowns and bridges, cavity linings, and lesions.
With its great adhesive strength (697 psi, 49 kg cm2), HY-Bond Polycarboxylate Cement chemically bonds the tooth and metal. It leaves an ultra-thin film at 19µm and is radiopaque.
